Auburn got another commitment Monday when Prichard, Ala., defensive end Darius Philon said he’ll sign with the Tigers in 2012.

The 6-foot-2, 265-pound Philon had 89 tackles as a junior. He chose Auburn over offers from Kentucky, Memphis, Mississippi State, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky.
He’s is a longtime friend of former Auburn standout and Vigor product Sen’Derrick Marks.
Scout lists Philon as a three-star player. He’s not rated by Rivals.
Philon is the Tigers’ seventh commitment for 2012 and the third in the last week. Here’s Auburn’s list of 2012 commitments. Rankings are by Rivals:
