AUBURN, Ala. — They keep winning, and Auburn Arena will keep hosting.
The Auburn (19-14) women’s basketball team’s resurgence will remain right here in its home building, set to host Drexel (25-10) Saturday at 6 p.m. CT in the Women’s NIT quarterfinals.
The Dragons defeated Bowling Green 50-47 Thursday, a night after Auburn knocked off Tulane 72-52 in the Round of 16. The Tigers’ home attendance Wednesday (1,391) was nearly doubled from its tournament opener vs. UAB.
The winner will move on to the WNIT quarterfinals against either James Madison, which has won three home games, or Florida, winner of three road games. That game is at James Madison.
