Auburn Fan Day slated for Aug. 11 at Auburn Arena

Auburn fans will get their chance to meet coach Gus Malzahn and players at Fan Day, which has been scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. EST on Aug. 11 at Auburn Arena.

Auburn head football coach Gus Malzahn poses for a picture with Ella Hoerner, 6, and Daniel Hoerner, 3, of Albany, Ga. Their mother, Shelley, is an Auburn '99 graduate, and her family has had season tickets at Jordan-Hare Stadium since 1957.The annual preseason event allows fans to chat with players and coaches, as well as come away with photos and autographs. Fans are limited to one item per person, and there is no restriction on what can be brought as long as it is easily transportable and does not hold up lines or pose a safety issue. Posters and schedule cards will be provided free of charge.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. EDT to allow fans to begin lining up for autographs. Along with Malzahn and the football team, members of the soccer and volleyball teams, the cheerleading squad and Tiger Paws will all be available to sign autographs. Aubie, Auburn’s mascot, will also be at the event to take photos with fans; Aubie, however, will not sign autographs.

The event is free to the public.
